Mrs. Yawman
Great Start
Wow! I am enjoying your second graders as we
delve into our study of Ancient Egypt. They are an
enthusiastic and curious bunch.
So far
weve studied some Ancient Egyptian artwork
to launch discussions and warm up our brains.
Then we identified where Egypt is in the world
and noticed that the Nile River runs through the
country
which prompted us to research why the Nile
was so important to Ancient Egyptian culture.
