Speech and Debate Coach: Columbiana High School-Columbiana, OH; June 2010- Present
Coached a multitude of categories ranging from Lincoln-Douglas Debate to Dramatic Interpretation and
most recently, United States Extemporaneous Speaking and International Extemporaneous Speaking.
Students have been both state and national qualifiers ranking as high as 20th in the nation.
Teach students how to construct well-developed, cohesive speeches and present them to a wide range of
audiences utilizing superior speaking and presentation skills.
Create and lead the team in fundraising activities that directly benefit both the team and school community.
Assist in managing special events throughout each year such as the annual rummage sale, home
tournament, and Night of Speech event while continuing to coach individual students throughout the
season.
