The document for typing the answer the student will research is provided on the site.
I plan to use the changes in matter lesson as a foundation to an energy lesson I will teach after this lesson.
Lessons will be modified to meet the needs of my students.
Begin by bring a globe ball and establish that whoever has the globe ball gets to standup and speak.
Ask the children what knowledge they already have of the changes in matter, and pass the ball around to
observe what they know. (To avoid chaos, children will pass the ball to the next student with the teachers
instruction.)
Procedures:
*Lessons will be modified to meet the needs of my students.
Prior to the computer (5 mins.)
Teaching Procedures
1) The introduction begins by bring a
globe ball and establish that whoever has
the globe ball gets to standup and speak
about what they know about changes in
matter.
Student Procedures
1) As the teacher walks in and passes a
globe ball around. Some of you will
stand up and speak of what you know
about changes of matter.
2) Listen as the instructions of the
assignment are being given out.
3) Proceed to the computer.

information of the assignment that they
need will be on the website.
2) Have the students open up the Microsoft
word answer pad found on the site to
ensure that they are answering the
correct form.
3) Monitor and Assist as needed

of the assignment is being given out.
2) Open up to the Microsoft word answer
pad and submit your answer on there.
3) Afterwards, print the page of the
Microsoft word document with the
answers fully typed in and with their
name on them.
Closure: Students will continue to discuss with the teacher and their classmates about what they learned
and what they enjoyed from the topic. At the end of class, the teacher collects reflections, checks for
assignment submissions, and discusses the importance of this lesson relating to future lessons within the
Americas.

I am aware that modifications will be made for students who did not master the objectives and for those
ready for enrichment. However, modifications are not covered in this course and are not part of this
particular lesson.
