Plan
1. In collaboration with 3-5 grade level
teachers, using data compiled with
the data tool, determine the number
of students needing intensive
interventions.
2. Find sources of funding for an
afterschool-tutoring program.
3. Research, interview, and hire highly
qualified Reading and Math
interventionists.
4. Get local and district approval to
hold after school tutorials for grades
3-5.
5. Communicate with parents and
students plans for an afterschool
tutorial program
6. Plan the logistics of administrative
supervision of student and
instructional staff.
7. Communicate expectations of both
students and teachers participating
in the afterschool program
8. Get parental approval for students
selected to participate in the
afterschool program.
9. Document student and teacher
attendance and assessment scores so
that data points can be analyzed to
evaluate effectiveness.
