In a small group, the students will create and identify


one shape.
Transition
As a whole class, the students will choose one out of the
eight shapes that they want to identify and create.
Each shape will be at a different table.
Call each group (shape table)
The students will skip to the table of the shape they
choose.
The students will draw the shapes with markers or
crayons
o **Supervise students and make sure they are
doing their best work and staying on task.
Once students finish their activity and can name six out
of the eight different shapes they learned today, they
could return to the floor circle and take a seat.
As a class, the teacher and students will review the
shapes one last time with visuals for guidance.
