Content Development: Answer the following question as thoughtfully from your current
perspective.
1. What do you see as your current strengths as an Outdoor Recreation Leadership and
Management (OLRM) major? I feel as though i have a few great strengths. These would
include leadership, getting along well with others as well as the ability to befriend and
socialize with new people, also my tremendous (and growing) love for the outdoors. I
also think a good strength I have is my experience and previous knowledge/schooling on
the outdoors.

2. What do you see as your current challenges (weakness) as an OLRM major?


I need to get into more situations where I am challenging myself in the outdoors, also I
would like to hone my skills and learn many more things about my major and jobs I
could pursue in this major. I also need to learn how to prepare myself better for certain
outdoor outings (both mentally and physically).
3. What will you do in the future to improve OLRM skills?
Continue taking classes and studying harder. Also I will be putting myself into the
outdoors as much as possible and try to spend most of my free time doing things that will
help me in the future. I also plan on taking a semester long NOLS course in New Zealand
next year.

4. In what OLRM areas would you most like to improve?


All of the areas possible! I want to be the best I can be all around and be a jack of all trades when
it comes to the outdoors.
