be assessed by their participation and demonstrating whether they met the objectives. To
wrap the class up at the end of the each day the teacher will review a few questions that
the students had that day. The teacher will ask if the students have any other questions
about the topic. Reviewing at the end of the class will help the students understand what
the teacher wants them to know.
Assessment:
The teacher will observe how students participate in class and how they help
their peers to know how much they are understanding the material.
Homework will be included in the assessment. The writing link will show
students understanding of snakes and their characteristics.
Homework: The students will have a page to write three sentences describing the snake that they
made in class that day.
Formative Assessment: At the beginning of each lesson the teacher will ask the students about
what they learned the previous day and answer any questions that the students may have.
