UDL Considerations:
For students in my class that are visually impaired or have a learning support the whole
class will be hands on work and all the students will be working together. As the teacher I
will be showing visual examples of the snakes. The entire lesson is based on visual, hands
on activities with teacher assistance when needed for the learning support students. As for
homework, the students will start it in class that way they understand what to do and can
ask questions before they take it home to do on their own.
Multiple Intelligence:

Bodily/Kinesthetic Intelligence: Students will be able to use their hands and fingers when

making their booklets and the snakes.

Visual-Spatial: Students will have visual examples in the pictures on the slideshows and
in their booklets. They will also get to see an example of how a moves when they make
their snakes in class.

Presentation:

Evaluation:
Closure: Students will rate the activities between one and five (one being the lowest five
being the highest). How much did they enjoy the activities that day? Students will also
be assessed by their participation and demonstrating whether they met the objectives. To
wrap the class up at the end of the each day the teacher will review a few questions that
the students had that day. The teacher will ask if the students have any other questions
about the topic. Reviewing at the end of the class will help the students understand what
the teacher wants them to know.
Assessment:

The teacher will observe how students participate in class and how they help

their peers to know how much they are understanding the material.
Homework will be included in the assessment. The writing link will show
students understanding of snakes and their characteristics.

Homework: The students will have a page to write three sentences describing the snake that they
made in class that day.
Formative Assessment: At the beginning of each lesson the teacher will ask the students about
what they learned the previous day and answer any questions that the students may have.
