Highlights from AVID Graduate Research:


AVID sends over 33% more students to 4-year colleges than local and
national averages.
More than twice the percentage of students with two years of middle
school AVID took three or more AP classes than those with only one
year or no AVID experience in middle school.
AVID students are staying in college once they enroll; 89% of those
who started are in college two years later.

AVID: 33 Years of Success


Over 33 years, AVID has become one of the
most successful college-preparatory programs
for low-income, underserved students, and
today reaches more than 700,000 students daily
in approximately 4,800 schools in 48 states and
16 other countries/territories.
Since 1990, more than 100,000 AVID students have graduated
from high school and planned to attend college.
