Agile business analysis for software, application, web and system development in an agile

project methodology such as Scrum.

The agile business analyst has primary responsibility for acting as the liaison with business
partners
and
translating
the
capabilities
defined
by
Product
Owners
into
initiatives/features/functions /stories that can be developed and delivered from a technology
perspective. In this capacity, the business analyst collaborates with product teams in technology,
distribution operations, and business communities to collect information, perform research, and
summarize analysis in support of development. The agile business analyst knows how to ask the right
questions (For example I ask why you need the product and I listen and use open end question to get
more detailed information then I will use the blackboard to draw which is mind mapping) to the
business and development team to successfully write users stories and acceptance criteria.
My experience is in:
Gathering requirements for IT development projects (Functional requirements, User Interface
requirements, and System requirements) by conducting interviews, work flow analysis, process
analysis, and observation sessions. I have used mind mapping during group workshop and one on

one interview sessions;

Writing concise and effective User Stories;

Interface with all levels of internal clients and analysing current business and software

development processes;
Facilitate and clarify customer business needs and translating them into application and operational

requirements;
Assist in the execution/analysis of integration, user acceptance and performance testing;

Modeling with UML (Unified Modeling language is a visual language that lets you model
processes, software and systems, BPMN for (Business Process Mapping such as AS-IS and TOBE).

Additional experience include preparing business requirement documents, functional and nonfunctional specification document.
I can work with waterfall, Agile such as PRINCE2, Kanban and Scrum methodology.
