Activity:
Students participate within a sequence game activity, where they sequence
toys in order from the oldest to the newest. The students will do this by
ordering images of toys from a variety of years in to a sequence- starting
from the oldest toy to the newest toy. Once that concludes, the teacher is to
bring the students to the carpeted area, and show them a variety of YouTube
clips. At the end of each clip the students decide whether the toy is old,
new, from now or from a long time ago. At the end of each of the
videos, the teacher is to select a student to pretend to be a person from that
era, and prompt the class to ask the students about that specific toy.
