Climate Change
Climate change is a real thing. The following are examples of attributes that
cause climate change. Humans create pollution that accelerates global warming,
but even without our pollution, Earth is destined reset. Greenhouse gases
interrupts Earths energy balance. Currently the change of climate has become
evident with this winter. Finally, civilization creates an imbalance that only
accelerates climate changes by farming, building cities, and multiplying. Climate
change is bound to happen, we just are shortening our turn on Earth.
Pollution, is mainly described as CO2 or carbon dioxide. This can be created
multiple ways but humans are the major creators of CO2. As you can see in the
chart below, household operations such as ovens, washers, dryers, water heaters,
heaters, and light bulbs are a major cause of CO2. Theres also transportation, it
comes in at 32%. Everything we do in our daily lives helps create greenhouse

gasses.

What are greenhouse gases? The Green House Effect is merely a fancy term
for causing a cloud of pollution that doesnt allow for heat to escape properly
causing a change in weather. To better illustrate what it is, look below. Earth has
this energy balance to sustain life.

Heat from the sun, goes through our atmosphere while some of it is reflected back
into space. Once the earth is warmed up throughout the day, the heat also returns
back out into space at night. But when we create another layer of gases, such as
carbon dioxide, it reradiates back into Earth.

t
Changing the temperature on earth effects everything and everyone because it
changes the climate. The climate is what keeps the world alive. It feeds everything
with the precipitation, it cleans the earth by circulating the air, and finally it
regulates the temperature to sustain life. But human civilization is changing that for
the worst.
Humans are the most weak and fragile species on Earth. But yet, we are the
most selfish and destructive species. We build on unstable land that cause the
destruction of the earths natural balance. We add more subsidence to our karst
topography. This too changes our climate by creating earthquakes sooner than the
natural flow. Earthquakes moves land and water causing different climate changes
for that area. Humans are also a wasteful species, water is one of the many things
we waste. We use so much water that we cause droughts to ourselves. This too

causes climate change because now our water cycle changes to different locations.

Finally by multiplying ourselves, we add more pressure to our resources. To counter

balance our selfish act of diminishing our food resources we create farms and
factories to compensate and were able to continue feeding ourselves. This too has
an effect on climate change.

All of those are factors that continue to increase our carbon dioxide into our
atmosphere. Below you can visually notice the increase of CO2 throughout the

years since 1960.

But lucky for us, this was bound to happen even without us contributing
pollution to the world. Our scientist have taken ice core samples from Antarctica
and have been able to analyze atomospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide from
the past.

The conclusion is pretty startling. It allowed us to see back into Earths past. This
climate change is actually a cycle of Earth. It has already happened at least 4 other
times in the past. Unfortunately for us, after the high temperatures, earth turns
back into the ice age. It has been a repetative cycle for earth to maintain its
survivability. To illustrate this, see the chart below.

Climate Change

Climate change is real. It will happen with our help or without it. Although
we can slow the process we cannot stop it. We can try to reverse it but according to
the data those scientist analyzed, we cannot reverse it either. We are already
feeling the effects of climate change. This winter was very mild. We only had 2
major snow storms and the rest of the time it was warm. This will make it very
difficult for our summer because drought is now a very real problem. Because our
winter was warm, summer will mostly likely become very hot. If this trend
continues, life on earth will perish much sooner than anticipated.
