Year 1 Curriculum Task

Our Focus Task this week looks at:

- Procedural texts: We are learning to write recipes or
instructions to make something.
- We are also having discussions (as part of the Religion unit)
about Baptism. Students can discuss either their Baptism,
N1aming day or the special story on the day they were born.

Activities and Resources that may help

to reinforce this skill / knowledge
- Looking for recipes in magazines or a special family recipe
- Identifying the parts of a procedure (title, materialsingredients- steps)
- Discussing your childs Baptism, Naming Day or Birth by
looking at photos, videos or keepsakes. These may like to
be recorded in their homework book.
