Overview/Rational Creativity is around every corner in this society. It is
e
on the radio; it is on the television; it is involved in the
students everyday life. Descriptive writing is an
important part of creative writing. The main reason a
personal narrative is important is because it gives a
strong sense of where the students are creatively and
shows their initial knowledge of descriptive writing.
The pre-writing process can be a great aid in the
organization of a personal narrative. To assist students
in descriptive writing, students must use Inspiration to
help organize their papers. In addition to the
narratives the students will learn how give and receive
constructive criticism through the peer edits.
