Collaborative Articulation Teams (CATs) are organized to focus on specific objectives that target
student learning and support ongoing dstit improvement, which may include a blend of
Strong, rigorous curriculum
* Specie, ongoing professional development for al staff
+ Focused collaborative time or staff o reflect, analyze, and problem solve
* Meaningful assessment and evaluation that provides feedback on student learning goals
CATs will focus on improving student achievement and will support all curcular disciplines,
‘Team members may include: Principals, Teachers, PSD Faciitalor. Paraprofessionsls, oF
other learning community members. Teams wil be formed as needs arise, and wil work within
®8 specific time frame witha specific goal to be achieved,
Each site will designate individuals as curriculum contacts in all curicular areas. At secondary
schools, department chairs will serve as the curriculum contact, At elementary schools, the
Curriculum contacts will serve as resouroes for bulding colleagues in spectc subject areas,
District-wide communication will be sent o all teachers of a particular discipline or level.
