Describe how you would Online Project/Collaboration Site/Publishing Opportunity
in your classroom: The students will get a chance to explore the site and
dicsover some new information about Mars. Following a discussion about
planets and Mars, they will be directed around the website.
What technologies would be required to implement this proposed learning activity
in a classroom? Computers/internet connection

a. Collaboration with peers, near-peers, mentors outside their classroom
and often beyond their school: This activity connects them with
NASA specialists that help guide them through the activities.

project):

these discoveries.

What Level of Technology Implementation best describes this learning activity and
Why? This is a LoTi level 4 because it connects the students to the
outside world. This allows them to explore and think in different ways.
How could you implement this proposed learning experience and still comply with
your districts Internet Safety and Student Privacy policies? Student activity
could be monitored as well as guided. The computers could block certain
sites and activities so the students are led on course during the activity,
and using cruise control the teacher could make sure that all students

are doing what they are supposed to be doing.
