TLW be able to use dialogue and pictures to tell a story.
TLW be able to create a sequential story line.
IV. Implementation
1. Introduction to Lesson (Hook)
How will students interest be captured? State exactly what you will
say to introduce the lesson.
How many of you have read the story The Three Little Pigs? Today, we
are going to be reading a special edition of The Three Little Pigs.
2. Sequence of Activities
Sequentially list the steps of your lesson. Make sure to include the
following: transitions, progress monitoring, and collecting//distributing
materials. Address both teacher actions and student activities.
Step 1: TTW do a picture walk up to page 16.
TTW point out speech bubbles during the picture walk.
TLW be observing and listening to the teacher.
Step 2: TTW read the book to the students.
TTW be monitoring comprehension, modeling questions,
check for understanding.
Step 3: TTW model the three step storyline using The Three
Little Pigs.
TLW be offering the teacher information to complete the
story.

TTW allow students time to discuss what they want their


story to be about.
Step 4: TLW begin to create their own story (whatever they
want to write about).
TLW be adding illustrations to their story.
TTW be observing the students comprehension by
walking around making sure students understand the
proper use of dialogue and illustrations.
3. Closure
How will you close the lesson?
TTW have 2-3 students share their story to the class.

* Whole: Read the book, created a storyboard on the board, and
students are allowed to share out their story with the rest of the
class.
* Small: Discussion about the storyline with the fellow students at
the table.
* Independent: The students get to create their own story using
dialogue and illustrations.

The advanced students: Will be asked to include conflict and
resolution to their story.
