wastewater, solid-waste facilities, schools, roads, and fire protection);
Directed and oversaw the project development process: Needs assessments, RFP development,
proposal reviews, proposal award, project monitoring, completion and closeout.
Drafted, reviewed, and negotiated scopes of work of various projects (feasibility studies, designs, and
constructions) to ensure that AANDCs Level of Service Standards are followed.
Reviewed consultant contracts for proper scopes of work, schedules, costs, and deliverables.
Worked closely with consultants/contractors to monitor and review project budgets, costs, project
schedule, scope changes, deliverables, and project deficiencies.
Achievements
Championed and developed a RFP template(s) in MS Word for future projects.
Championed and developed a project charter template in MS Word to ensure that all projects are
uniformly initiated.
Developed a Project Cost Summary template in MS Excel that was adopted by AANDC.
Championed and developed a detailed schedule template in MS Project to ensure that all
stages/deliverables/milestones of the project are accounted for in each project schedule.
Assisted other staff to improve processes. The tools and processes, which simplified work,
standardized processes, reduced errors, and clarified deliverables, were well received.
