Photo Editing

Open a Photo:
1. In the menu across the top click File > Open and choose the photo from your
folder
Cropping a Photo:
1. Make sure you have a photo open
2. Select the crop tool

3. Click and drag out the bounding box. Use the anchor points to crop the photo
the way you would like

4. Press Enter
5. In the menu across the top click File > Save As
6. Follow the directions below;

Lighten and Darken Photos:

1. In the menu across the top click Enhance > Adjust Lighting >Brightness /
Contrast
2. When the adjustment window pops up, move the sliders to the right and left
to adjust the lighting

Increase brightness to make an image lighter

Decrease contrast to make an image lighter
Increase contrast to make an image darker
Decrease brightness to make an image darker
In the menu across the top click File > Save As
Follow the directions below;

Sharpen:
1. In the menu across the top click Enhance >Adjust Sharpness
2. When the adjustment window pops up, move the sliders make the image look
less blurry.

3. Most times you will want to remove Gaussian Blur but sometimes other types
of blur work better.
4. Adjust the Amount and Radius until the image looks sharper.
5. Press OK

6. In the menu across the top click File > Save As

7. Follow the directions below;
