MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES TEST

Where does your true intelligence lie? This quiz will tell you where you stand and what to do about it.
Read each statement. If it expresses some characteristic of yours and sounds true for the most part, jot
down a "T." If it doesn't, mark an "F." If the statement is sometimes true, sometimes false, leave it blank.

Once you have completed your personal

thinking-style test, chart your results here.

Now, do some research on your learning inventory. What does your MI say about you? What does your
learning style say about you? Do you feel they fit you well?
Check this MI resource out first. Be sure to investigate the two newer MIs, naturalist and existentialist.

Prompt:

Sampling of comments regarding questions 1 and 2:

My strongest MIs are musical and intrapersonal because I checked all of the numbers
under each. These suggest that I learn best with the use of sounds, rhythms, patterns,
self-motivation, and diagrams. My learning style is abstract sequential which suggests
that I learn best when conducting my own work and investigation. I this makes more
sense to me, now that I know intrapersonal people are self-motivated, as I can
deffinately connect with that. And I feel as though once I am able to self-motivate
myself in class, my performance will reflect that effort.

My strongest MI is logical mathematical. This suggests that logical math will be simple
and not to much of a challenge for me in the classroom. My learning style is concrete
random. This suggests that I can do any math work which is asked of in any order. This
information is helpful because it makes me more aware of what is going on and ways
that I am able to learn.

my strongest multiple intelligence is logical. Looking at real world examples with
numbers and data will help me. My learning style is concrete sequential. I like working in
steps and order. I also like working independently but helping others.

My strongest MI is Linguistic, which means that I am good at memorizing things, I am

good at debating, and I can explain things well. I think they from my MI, what would be
beneficial in the classroom is just to explain things out, and not rush through them.

My learning style is both abstract sequential, and concrete sequential. This means that I
am not a big fan of working with other people, and that I like a structured class. I'm not
a big fan of when big changes are made in class, like how the teacher teaches, and I also
like when there is a clear schedule of what we need to do.

My strongest multiple intelligence had to do with being musical. I think it would be
helpful to be able to listen to music during class. This suggests that I learn better with
music around me.

My strongest MI is Bodily/Kinesthetic, physical activity.
Beach ball- independent work, experimental attitude, divergent thinker.
I will work independently while doing hands on activities.

My strongest MI was logical/math and music. I think use of numbers (not as many word
problems) would help me the most. I'm an abstract sequential and I like to use
calculators and numbers.

My strongest MIs were Logical and Musical, this suggests that I learn my doing the work.
My learning style is Abstract sequential, which more or less says the same thing about
me. I hope to block out distractions with music or background noise.

my MI is music and body.
Keep it the same with lectures and work sheets.
Clip board because I like structure and organization.
I would apply my learning style with our lectures.
1. My strongest MI's are musical and bodily-kinesthetic. I think this will be beneficial to
classroom because I'm fun and can make people laugh because I'm funny and cool. My
learning style is the puppy (abstract random). This suggests that I work and learn best
when I apply what I'm learning to my life.
2. I will use this in the classroom by trying to apply more of what I learn to my life. And
try to make connections so I'll understand better.

my strongest MI was logical-mathematical, and bodily so working with numbers and
interacting with things will help in class my strongest learning style was a clipboard so I
learn best with straight forward directions and frameworks. So I think the notes and
worksheets in class help me a lot.

my strongest MI was music. It suggests that structure and being fluid will benefit me.
My learning style is concrete sequential. I will take advantage of the worksheets.
