Utilizing innovative music education, I am committed to enhancing a wide variety of student academic, social, and
emotional skill sets such as creativity, language development, abstract thinking, self-awareness, strong fine motor
development and coordination, including positive attitudes toward school. My professional experience as a music

Established to synthesize backgrounds in music and social work. The business is committed to
building and bridging communities through music and the arts. Service areas include: Music
Education (private/ group instruction), Music Entertainment (public/private events and functions),
Notation & Composition (transcribing, typesetting, composing, arranging), and Community
Development (educational, organizational, communal). Some of the primary projects included:
Artist In Residence, Temple Israel, West Bloomfield, MI (2002 2011)
Coached, directed, and arranged music for Yom Sheini, a teen rock band, who played for
many services.
Served as saxophonist/flutist for weekly services.
Artist In Residence, Adat Shalom Synagogue, Farmington Hills, MI (2003 2011)
Served as professional vocalist (tenor) for the High Holy Day choir.
Designed, facilitated, and ran Shir La La, a music enrichment program for toddlers and

Committee Member, National Conference for Community & Justice (Los Angeles, CA)

Committee member for InterSem 2002, an annual conference for Christian and Jewish students
studying at their respective seminaries. The conference provides participants an opportunity to
educate each other about their own religious customs and beliefs.
Developed a creative opening-skit designed to illustrate basic guidelines for respectful and
productive interfaith dialogue.

Graduate Intern, Jewish Federation Valley Alliance, Los Angeles, CA


Developed a grant proposal that targeted under-involved Jewish youth, and involved the Bureau
of Jewish Education, Bnai Brith Youth Organization, and Brandeis-Bardin Institute.
Assisted in the development and implementation of a three-part Community Leadership Series
designed to educate, mobilize, and prepare the community to interface with the local Muslim
community.
Assisted the Strategic Planning Committee with the development and implementation of
primary strategic planning documents, and designed a PowerPoint presentation that highlighted
the committees efforts.
Prepared a Staff Development Proposal designed to enhance leadership and management
