Ecology and epidemiology of Lyme Disease.
Used drag cloths at research sites to collect ticks.
Set and recovered small mammal traps along transects.
Removed ticks from anesthetized small mammals and biopsied tissue sample using ear
punch.

Collaboration project between UC Santa Barbara and UC Davis.
Survey of research sites for Sudden Oak Death at Big Sur, CA.
Used transects and point quadrats to identify research sites.
