PROFILE
I recently graduated and am focused on pursuing a career in Public Relations or Visual Communications. Creative
design, writing, layout, and promotional materials are my specialty. My education has provided me with a wide skill
set in the mass media field and I am ready to use my knowledge and experience in the workplace.

EXPERIENCE
Sales Associate, Kohl's, Topeka, KS

2013-2015

At Kohls, I worked mainly as a sales associate and cashier but I also did other tasks. I learned how to provide efficient
customer service and work as a team player to meet daily credit goals. Knowledge about technology was an important
part of my job when assisting a customer at a kiosk and working on a register. I am successful at handling money and
gaining product knowledge to give customers the best experience possible.

Camera Operator, Kansas Expocentre, Topeka, KS

2012-2015

To maintain a well-rounded media background I decided to gain experience filming at the Expocentre. The
Expocentre is a venue used for a variety of events since it contains multiple facilities. I have filmed events including
hockey, arena football, demolition derbies, high school graduations, boxing, MMA, KS Kids Wrestling, and others. I
have become familiar with film equipment and cameras, set up and take-down procedures, and the teamwork needed
to successfully film in a group setting.

Summer Rec Staff, Hoisington Recreation Center, Hoisington, KS

2011-2013

Working for the Rec Center was my first time working for a non-profit organization. The Summer Rec program worked
with kids K-6th grade and provided a fun, out-of-school daycare experience. I was involved in organizing games,
activities, and field trips for the kids to participate in. I also taught crafts, dance, and helped direct our annual talent
show. We worked as a team to raise funds by hosting a raffle drawing that local businesses donated prizes to.
