Learnings and Integration

The report has three objectives that serve as the basis of the learnings and
integration of the report.

The first objective of the report is to understand the historical background

of the world and of the Philippines during Rizals time. Through the history
of the world before Rizals time, one could easily distinguish the difference
before and during Rizals. Also through this, one could have a basis of what
truly makes Rizal the Philippine National Hero. The learnings behind this
objective are:

Make the world a better place with your existence.

Do whatever is good.
Strive for the better.

As what Rizal did to the Philippines, he made the world a better

place with his existence, he did whatever is good, and strived
for the better. These things were proven by his works and
especially by giving his life for the Filipino people. We cannot
denied that hes also one of the reason why the Philippines has
its freedom.

The second objective is to distinguish the different evils done by the

Spanish authorities in the Philippines. Evils, not just one but many.
Filipinos had experience different kind of evils like discrimination. The
learnings behind this are:

Do not tolerate the evilness of anyone.

Dont let fear conquer you.

Rizal did not tolerate the evilness of the Spanish. He made a

unique way which is to write novels that were against the
Spanish. It was the reason why he got executed. But he was not
afraid of this because nothings wrong of what hes fighting for.

The third objective is to appreciate the events that led to Rizals foundation
of thoughts. The learnings behind this objective are:

Make every situation an opportunity to show what youve got.

Make use of the blessings from God.

The world was really terrible when Rizal was born. But, it is
enough reason for him to just hide under the table and forget
whats going on. He knows how to make use of his blessings
from God. He knows that he has the power to change what is
happening to the world in his time.

As a summarization of the learnings and integration, I quote:

No one can change the past, but everyone could make the future
better

What each one of us should do is to make our life worthy. One is not
here just to breathe every day, one has to live day by day. We cannot
change the past, but it can be our basis on how to make a fruitful life. What
one should have is the goodness of the heart. The most important thing is to
have faith in God.
