Fight*Flight*Freeze Response in Lord of the Flies

Explaining if the majority of people fight, flight or freeze I am going to use the
example of 9/11. After the second plane hit the 2 nd tower people realized what was
happening at the time. The general public was angry and mad. Many people were
frozen, they were shocked at what has happened. The other side was that many
more people signed up to fight. These people chose the fight concept and the
others chose the freeze concept. The people took immediate action against the
people who did this to their country. They didnt just not do anything and just leave
it behind in the flight concept they fought. In the story the boys also fought because
they did not just stop and wait for help they gathered food and water and
attempted to build shelters. If they were to freeze I think this would mean they
would have just stopped and waited for help. If they would have used flight they
would have pained because there is nowhere to go, they are on an island. The boys
fought on and are still fighting they encounter new things every chapter.
