Overview
This lesson plan reinforces skills in math, English Language
Arts, science and social science on a daily basis. In order
to teach students with profound/multiple learning
disabilities lessons must cover many subjects. The larger
unit of study in this case is basic skills. Technology is used
throughout the entire lesson and is a mandatory
component for teaching this population. The technology
used in this lesson is a projector and MacBook set up,
numerous Big Macs, Little Macs and iPads for students who
need visuals close up. The technology allows the students
to participate in the morning meeting and gives each
student a voice to make choices, answer questions and
say good morning.
