I have just graduated from The University of The W est of England, Bristol, reading Fashion
Textiles (BAHONS) Degree, specialising in Textile for Fashion. I am a creative, passionate,
committed individual with a wide range of skills with in the textiles industry. I am very hard working
and a fast learner in or out of a team environment; I am ambitious and confident in my own ability to
produce high quality work, as I have undertaken work experiences. I work with an attention to detail
and am proactive also working well under pressure.

Topshop summer 2010


During my A Level course I worked on a fashion show competition, helping manufacture and
design clothes for the younger years show in school in the Topshop Competition, I worked along
side Topshop pattern cutters and Textile designers choosing fabrics and making garments.

Helping with the accessories department, with bags, belts and scarves, designing them and
measuring for the manufactures, learning about the admin and costs of manufacture and fabrics
used and looking designing online layouts and photography pages.

Working for the design team, choosing fabrics and designing prints, repeat formats and colour
ranges, assisting in pattern cutting and helping with administration.
Mary Katrantzou Winter/spring of 2014
London based in Islington during London fashion week, for six weeks, I took part in London
Fashion week as a dresser and on site seam stress, leading up to the show I helped with pattern

cutting and worked in the textiles department doing hand embroidery and hand sewing, working
with metal to create metal dresses and working in the print department drawing and creating
repeat formats, I also had to travel London for fabric sourcing and collections.

Work
April 2010 August 2012 Wyevale Garden Centre Restaurant, Northampton- till operator
and server for 2.5 years I have worked part time, delicatessen section serving food and
coffee. This has including taking catering certificates and work related E-learning for customer
service training. This work has given me excellent customer service and team experience
(working with 12 other staff members)
Summer of 2013 Next, Northampton, helping in their summer sale, on the main shop floor
helping out with sales and keeping the job tidy and safe.
Winter/spring 2013-2014 Thomas Sabo Sales Assistant Bristol, part time sales assistant
and till operator over the busy Christmas and new year period, I gained full knowledge of the
jewellery and how to work in a very smart and luxurious shop, dealing with large amounts of
money under a lot of pressure as it was extremely busy.
Spring 2014- H&M sales assistant- Bristol, on till, fitting rooms and as a stylist for the shop, I
worked 8 hours a week and I worked over time up to 22 hours a week.
Summer 2014- Coast Concessions in House of Fraser- Bristol, Sales advisor and helped with
visual merchandising, I worked 12 hours a week and cleaned, replenished stock and helped
customers with advice, I also operated the tills, and fitting rooms.
Summer 2015- Joules Life Style Brand- Bristol, sales Assistant, till operator and stylist to
cliental, cleaning and keeping high standard, operating click and collect and closing, 12 hours a
week position and I did over time to 17hours.
