PCHS Summer Schoo!
2014-2015
Overview:
Pierce County High School will be having two sessions of summer school for students to
recover ctedit in order to help keep them on track to graduate. A student may attend one
session or both sessions of summer school and recover 1 credit per session. A maximum
of 2 credits during summer school may be recovered. There is no charge to attend
summer school.
Requirements:
For students to be eligible to attend summer school, the student must have failed the
course in which he/she was enrolled with an average of 60 or higher. The student can
only recover credit for courses failed in the 2014-2015 school year. One eredit each
session of summer school is the most that can be recovered, Student mastery of the
‘material must be demonstrated to recover a credit.

Times:
Summer school will be from 8:30-12:30 each day Monday through Thursday. ‘The dates
for summer school are as follows:
Session I: June 1°-4" & June 8-11"
Session 2: June 15-18" & June 22-25th
