Projects Held in university

September 2014 - January 2015

Constructed a DC to DC switch mode power supply based on push-pull

topology:
o Designed the circuit diagram using Altium software to simulate the
output of the circuit before building it.
o Used a snubber network for filtering the to produce an output with less
ringing.
Constructed an Active load power factor correction:
o Measured the power factor of the power supply (which was 0.7).
o Used a capacitor to correct the power factor value (which was 0.89).
o Replaced the capacitor with TDA4628 microchip to make perfect of the
power factor value (which was 1.0).
