Context of the lesson :
Friction: Task 15 bikes and increasing friction/ Task 16 bikes and reducing friction.
Teaching goal :
To teach the parts of bike that increase/ reduce friction and why.
Learning objectives : By the end of the lesson the students will be able to :
- Identify parts of bikes that increase/ reduce
- Differentiate between parts of bike that increase or reduce friction.

Assumptions about prior learning


-The students will be familiar with some parts of bike.
-Students know what friction is.
Anticipated problems and possible solutions
Problem: students get confused between parts of bike while drawing it individually.
Solution: teacher put label on the bike in front of students.
Personal focus for this lesson
-Monitor children more closely.
-Using the body language.
-Classroom management.

about bikes parts and stick
the main parts that are

group a part of the bike
and ask them to discuss

each group will come in
