The Salinas City Elementary School District is offering Preschool Day Care at Boronda School.
Operating hours: 7:15 a.m.5:30 p.m. The Smart Start Day Care program provides a warm nurturing
environment with structured recreation, arts, crafts, and homework times. Child must be enrolled in
Smart Start Preschool to attend day care.

FEE SCHEDULE
AM PRESCHOOL - AM Only

7:15 8:15 am ........................................$60/month

7:15 8:15 am & 11:15 am-1:00 pm ......$135/month

AM Preschool

- Before & After Class

7:15 8:15 am & 11:15 am-3:00 pm ......$210/month

7:15 8:15 am & 11:15 am-5:30 pm ......$330/month

A non-refundable Materials Fee of $25 is charged. PAID BY MONEY ORDER ONLY.

ALL MONTHS WILL BE A STANDARDIZED RATE.

To reserve a place for your child for the 2015-16 school year in the Smart Start Day Care
Program, please complete the attached form and submit it with the Materials Fee to:

Materials Fee must be paid to Smart Start Day Care Money Order ONLY NO
EXCEPTIONS. Please WRITE your students full name on the Money Order or checks
thereafter.

Spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

If your child is accepted into the program, you must guarantee your childs space by sending the
first monthly fee to the EDC office at the above address, two weeks prior to the start of school.
If the 1 month fee is not received on time, your child will be dropped from the program
If you do not need the space, please call the EDC office (831-784-2214) before school starts OR you
will be charged for the month.
If you have a prior balance on your account, your child(dren) will not be accepted or put on a
waiting list until the balance is cleared.
A written notice will be needed a week in advance when dropping your child from the program.
