Dilma Rousseff

Barack

Obama

Dilma Rousseff: Hello president Obama thank you for having time to talk to me
about the issues that are occurring in Brazil
Barrack Obama: Hello president Rousse Im here to listen to your issues and see if
we can come to a solution and to express if we have similar issues.
Rousseff: We are experiencing a high percentage of poverty in our country the
richest 10% of people are taking 40% of our income and the poorest 10% of people
are taking 1% of the income.
Barack: So it is safe to safe that most of your population falls in the middle class.
Rousseff: Yes our middle class as well as our lower class is becoming more
populated which is taking more from our economy.
Barack: Speaking for the United States Im sure that it is safe to say that we are
experiencing the same issue in our economy but with the help of our government
we help our citizens to try to maintain a livable lifestyle if they may not be making
the expecting amount to meet their means. I would suggest that to your company if
that is in your funds as a country to be willing to put your hand out to help your
country. I learned to help our country improve it starts with us and we have to make
the move first we cant depend on them to make away and everything to change.
Rousseff: I will definitely take that into consideration since office our economy has
grown 4% and expanded. We also thank you for being one of the five countries that
are buying 45% Brazils exported goods. It has helped us over time.
Barack: No need to thank us we have no problem helping a country that is willing to
help us.

Rousseff: Besides our economy I know that will come along another problem in our
country is the crime. In some of our major cities we are experiencing some high
form of crime.
Barack: What types of crimes are occurring in these particular cities because here in
the U.S I have had to make trips to different cities referring to the crime that has
been happening? Recently in our country has been facing crimes involving our
police killing citizens. Some felt as though they were following procedures some
went out very harshly although no harm was meant thats not how it ended. This
cause many riots throughout the country begging for justice for the victims.
Rousseff: I have heard about that and we have the same problem. There is also a
problem within the law enforcement divisions, with corruption and violence being
inflicted by the police themselves. This discourages the community to report
incidents of violence, as they have little fear of or respect for the police. I wonder if
the people are committing crimes and the law enforcement then who are the people
supposed to look at for help. The most common crimes we are facing is mugging,
robbing, kidnapping and gang violence.
Barack: We have those problems in many of our cities as well we just try to keep the
message of bettering each community for the next generation coming up.
Rousseff: Another issue that we have is unemployment's. Which is leading the
problem to poverty.
Obama: We as well have that problem in the United States. Because people are
unemployed, they cant get an income of money coming in.
Rousseff: Yeah I agree with that statement, the people that dont have money
coming in can't support their family.
Obama: Alright is that all?
Rousseff: No. We also have an issue with health. We have a shortage of medicine for
hospitals.
Obama: Why?
Rousseff: Well our hospitals are overcrowded and they arent in the best of shape
because they are really crowded.
Obama: We dont really have that problem here.
Rousseff: And the last problem I want to talk about is education.
Obama: What is it?
Rousseff: We have people uneducated. Our children have a lack of education
because they afford it. Obama: Alright, well most of our children here are very
educated.

Rousseff: so you understand why this is an issue. Some of the children work to try to
get money to attend school. Thats all of the issues I came here to talk about. Thank
you for your time.
Obama: Anytime. I hope these issues that you have in Brazil become well in the
future.
