A Theory of Effective Computer-Based Instruction for Adults.

It can help us it is like extra practice in classes; teachers are available to

use resources to advance in different types of tasks of assignments of
class, the most important resources nowadays its technology.
Platforms allow teachers to submit students to have quizzes. It is a very
useful tool for teacher because they can monitor and scored students
advances.
It is not only useful for teachers it helps to students too they would be
able to see their advances with their listening comprehension, reading
comprehension and writing skills.
Some disadvantages could be that almost all work in technological and
students and teachers are not able to practice each other. And the way
to personalized correction of mispronouncing or word order structure.
Some things that we also can use it is Input this part of the system
expended in operation to achieve output or a result.
With the self directed learning it is easy that they understand better this
type and learning because they develop his or her own effort using any
method in any circumstances at any time.

Knowles give us some instructions about how to follow this process and
this is the guide:

Diagnostic learning needs

Formulating learning objectives
Identifying resources for learning
Choosing & implementing strategies
Evaluating learning outcomes

Research has proved that some adults are unable to engage in self
directed learning because they lack independence, confidence or
resources.
Misperceptions
Self efficacy does not focus on the skills one has, but rather the
judgments of what one can do with his or her skills. Traditionally, a
distinguishing feature of self efficacy is its domain-specificity. In other
words, judgments are limited to certain types of performances as
compared to an overall evaluation of his or her potential.
Laws of Interaction
Law of interaction is a statement by the researcher-theorist of the
relationship between units and shows how the units of the theory are
linked. In this section, the laws of interaction of A Theory of Effective
Computer-Based Instruction for Adults are developed.
Another reason for using learner control is that it helps students become
independent learners and develop their self-efficacy and selfdetermination.

System States
In this term we have two subjects, the first one is effective system state,
An alignment of the upper support half and the lower design half of the

model result in effective CBI, and the second one is ineffective system
state, this happen when the support and design are not aligned.
Propositions
One must convert the proposition statements firstly into empirical
indicators, then secondly into hypotheses, and thirdly, one must test the
hypotheses through research to address the problem of matching the
theory with the real world.
The effectiveness of CBI will be maximized when the levels of selfdirectedness, computer self-efficacy, learning goal level, and external
support are incorporated in the CBI design.
However, we need technology but the most important is to know our
students who help technology for improve their grades or knowledge
and who really just take off their attention, so it is a tool and we need
how to apply it for everyone.
