Implementation Evaluation Sheet

Objective: My topic was police brutality. The objective was to inform people about police brutality and
how some officers can be so cruel sometimes. Because many people do not know what it is and
how it is occurring in America on daily basis. Police brutality is wrong but does not mean you can
point at every officer.
Action Component 1
Give a survey to B3 and try to figure out what they know about police brutality. I did not teach them
anything, because this survey was to see what people in general know about police brutality. And to
make an impact I can teach some people about it and then measure my impact by giving them a
quiz after a presentation.
Do you feel this made an impact?
YES
NO
How do you know? What evidence can you provide?
I informed them because I gave them a survey and asked them if they thought it occurred. The
evidence is the surveys.
Action Component 2:
I analyzed the survey results.
Do you feel this made an impact? YES
NO
How do you know? What evidence can you provide?
I gave out 11 surveys. I know it made an impact because 11 out of 11 people knew what police
brutality was. 11 out of 4 people think police officers are racist. 4 people out of 11 have experienced
police brutality or have their family members involved with it. 3 out of 11 people have seen police
officer hurt someone. And 1 out 11 people does not feel safe in their community. All these results
have shown that police brutality needs to end in America.
Action Component 3:
The survey was to figure out what people know about police brutality. But my purpose was to inform
people. So I gave a presentation to my anchor. And to measure the impact I gave them a quiz
afterwards.
Do you feel this made an impact? YES
NO
How do you know? What evidence can you provide?
Because they all seemed to understand the issue. The evidence is that they took the quizzes and
put their opinions on it. Which helped me see what how I taught/inform them about police brutality.
Action Component 4:
I analyzed quiz results.
Do you feel this made an impact? YES
NO
How do you know? What evidence can you provide?
After the presentation I handed out 7 quizzes. Everyone knew the true definition of police brutality
afterwards but for the survey everyone had an idea of what it is but they di not truly know. These
students were able to learn the true definition of police brutality because I showed them a video of
how it occurs. 6 out of 7 people thought police brutality was really cruel and should not occur to
anyone at all. 1 person out 7 preferred not to answer that question. 5 out of 7 people said that police
think that they can use their power wherever they want and police officers do not understand their
limits. 2 out of 7 said they do not know why police brutality occurs. 1 out of 7 people said that they
think police officers are racist, but 6 people said it depends on the situation. 1 out of 7 people said
they feel unsafe in their community. 1 of them said they feel unsafe sometimes. And 5 of them said
they feel safe in their community.

If you were going to do this project over, how would you make improvements?
To make this project better in the future I can go to the field trip and see how that trip impacts
me.
In the future I can put an iMovie about police brutality and put it on the morning
announcements. I think it would have impacted people because when I presented in anchor
they actually pay attention and did the quizzes for me also. And it is a big issue in society and
people are passionate about it.
In the future I can make a poster about police brutality and have people sign it in school and I
can give a little presentation about the police brutality while they were signing, so they can
know what they were going to sign. That way I would know how many people I have informed
and how I made an impact.
