Traniece Smith, 40s, gospel singer and entrepreneur, has been trying to pick up the pieces and
move on ever since her divorce was final in 2007. Battling with being overweight and
depressed, she decided to finally rededicate her life to Christ and join a church under Christian
experience. It was during that period of taking new membership classes and doing the exercises
in the Beginners Step book where she learned important lessons while she was soul searching.
One morning, she made it priority to go to the gym and live a healthier lifestyle. While
exercising, she would listen to The Anointed Pace Sisters Pandora Station. The playlist before the
1st commercial break motivated her to keep moving forward. After reflecting on each song,
with each day seeming like a specific theme, she finally started LIVING for herself. In doing so,
she was happy with who she was and being single, because she was now, eating at a table for
1. 5 years later, she met Christopher, a single father of 3 children, eldest Christyn and a set of
twins Christa and CJ who worked two jobs, his dads barbershop by day and Pet Smart at night.
He and his children also lived with his parents as hes saving money. After 6 months of dating,
he pops the big question and Traniece happily accepts it. However, as the wedding planning
progresses, she decides to try and bake an old recipe she found in one of her journals as a teen,
My Kings Cake. Will it turn out to be a KING? OR a RECIPE FOR DISASTER?

Financial Projections
The following categories were used to project the financials for Recipe for Disaster; genre, target market and actor marketability. The rating for Recipe for Disaster
will be PG-13, which for the last decade has been the top grossing film rating. In 2013, this rating accounted for 43.95% of the market share selling over 550
million tickets. Therefore, we can assume a similar performance with our film. The following projections are based on an average ticket price of $8.38.
Genre/ Target Market Audience Comparison
Urban Family Drama Genres are the most accurate genre classification.
$329,700,000 (Urban Family Dramas) / $8.38 (avg. ticket price)
= $39,343,675 moviegoers (target market audience)
16% x 39,343,675 target market audience
= $6,294,988 (assumptive moviegoer turnout)

6,294,988 (assumptive moviegoer turnout) x $8.38 (avg. ticket price 2013)

= $52,752,000 (domestic box office receipts)

Scenario 1: Average Case Scenario

(Based on For Colored Girls) Adhering to the same P&A cost, focus your attention upon the average performance suggested by the target market audience and genre
comparisons. Again, provide a breakdown as follows. Obviously, there should be an increase in each item except P&A.

PHARAOH FILMS

Scenario 2: Worst Case Scenario

(Based on Waiting to Exhale)Finally, combine the average combined box office receipts based on the careers of the actors attached. This creates the excellent
scenario. Again, the P&A factor remains constant. State the overall revenue, amount forwarded to Members, and what % return that represents. Again, display in
chart format as such:

Strategic Approach
The motion picture industry is competitive, risky, and profitable. Through our industry relationships, we have the ability to create this project
for a quarter of the cost, giving us over an eight million dollar financial value proposition. Chosen Generation Entertainment has a competitive
edge within the industry due to our close talent relationships with bankable actors such as the leads for Recipe For Disaster, LaTrice A. Pace,
Sicily Johnson, Angell Conwell, and Tommy Ford, that will increase box office sales.
Distribution Plan
There is a constant demand for urban family dramas, which ensures that this film genre continues to produce high revenues. Our first plan of
action is to place Recipe For Disaster into the film festival circuit and seek distribution through a variety of vendors. Our second plan of action is
to contact Regal Cinemas and approach them about a limited theatrical release. Our third plan is to distribute through home video distribution
via Wal-mart, and digitally.

Financial Highlights
The entire production budget for Recipe For Disaster is $100,000 USD. We are seeking equity investment of $100,000 USD to begin production.
Investors will receive 25% ownership, equaling a 25% profit share. 100% of the profit sharing will be distributed to the equity investor until the
entire 150% of the initial investment is recouped. At that time, 25% of the profit sharing will begin. Investors will also receive Executive
Producer credits on the project, copies of the film, and VIP invitations to all public and non-public events surrounding the film.
Conclusion
Based on current market research, entertainment revenue trends, existing distribution deals, and producer history within this business, Chosen
Generation Entertainment knows that Recipe For Disaster presents a great opportunity for investors interested in being involved with a
potentially very lucrative project.
