If students are not knowledgeable of

relative things that pertains to the sun

then I will list a few things

Teacher Input: Explain the food web and how the

sun plays a major role in the flow of energy within

the food web by giving an oral explanation using
Prezi software to display a visual presentation. I
will incorporate an online game for the students to

Guided Practice: The teacher will put the students in
groups to of two or three to demonstrate or apply
what theyve just learned by working on the food
web activity handouts. The teacher will also
monitor the students by walking around the
classroom and evaluating or checking their work.
Independent Practice: Give students the food web
activity worksheets to apply their knowledge
individually within their groups so that they may
incorporate positive interdependence. However, the
teacher will still monitor the students just with
minimum guidance.
Closure: Do another online game to check for

comprehension and ask exit questions before the

students exit the classroom door.

Students will actively observe the

teacher as she show a visual
presentation. The students will also
complete and recognize the food
web information with an online
game to prepare them for the
guided practice.

Students will complete the group

work assignment with partners with
cut-out squares of the given
animals as well as the sun so that
they may place them in the correct
order of the food web.
Students will complete the food
web activity worksheets together
quietly to themselves. The students
will have ability to produce as well as
relate to the flow of the food web and
its foundation which is the sun.

Students will verbalize and

demonstrate their learning by
playing the online food web game
and answering the exit questions.
