Makingthisinventionwillaccomplishnotbeingburnedbythehotseatbelt,This
inventiontakesawaythepainofbeingburnedbythebelt.Everyonehatestheburnof
thebelt,sothisinventionisjustwhatyouneedtopreventthat.Thisinventionismade
justforthesolepurposeofhelpingpreventthisburn.Theseburnscanbeverypainful,
butnotanymore!

2. HOWITWILLWORK(SCIENTIFICPRINCIPLESUTILIZED)?

Thecoverwillfunctiontopreventatransferofheattothemetal
whichistheprimaryreasonthatthemetalheatsup.Thetransferofthe
thermalenergyiscausedbyradiation.
Radiationisenergythatcomes
fromasourceandtravelsthroughsomematerialandinthiscasethe
sourceisthesunandthematerialisthebeltbuckle.Bythebucklebeing
metalitgivesthetransferofheatanadvantagebecausemetalsaregreat
thermalconductors.Athermalconductorisamaterialthroughwhich
thermalenergyflowseasily.Atomsingoodthermalconductorshave
electronsthatmoveeasily.Theatomsinmetalscontainelectronsthatflow
freelythroughoutthesubstance.Thepurposeofourbeltbucklecoveristo
preventtheheatenergyfromtransferringintothemetalbeltbuckleand

propertyknownasFRICTION.Frictionwillhavealottodowithwhythe
clothfunctionsforthispurpose.Tobemorespecifictherubberagainstthe
beltbucklecreatesstaticfriction.Thefrictiontheclothcausespreventsthe
coverfromslidingoffaslopedsurfaceandthepropertyoftheclothiswhat
causestheittostayinplace.Theinsidecoverwillonlybecomeusefulif
