As an educator I believe in a student based approach to teaching. Every learner comes from
a different background and learns differently. I want to empower students to discover their
own learning strategies and support their steps to lifelong learning.

My main responsibilities for this job were to teach the music and theatre session to
our clients. This meant organizing, booking rooms, gathering materials, and anything else
that the lessons needed. Besides that, I would accompany clients on various outings such

Interests and Activities
Over the years, I have enjoyed being a part of many musical groups. Ive played
saxophone in symphonic and jazz bands. I was drummer/percussionist in the pit for The
Music Man. I played piano for the independent musical The Hangoverture. Ive composed
and played live music for many theatre. A recent example of this was Red Deer Colleges
production of Summertime, for which I composed the music and performed it live using
keyboards and percussion. Other examples that include me writing and performing music
while acting a role in the show are Red Deer Colleges The Ghost Sonata, Fuenteo Vejuna,
The Twelfth Night, and Central Alberta Theatres Butterflies are Free. My most recent
musical project has been the rock band Youngfellas in which I play bass. Weve been
playing together fairly consistently for the past three years. Some of the bands weve played
with include One Bad Son and Prism.
Acting is another huge passion of mine. I was involved with the theatre for young
audiences shows They are not like you and Me, and Under my Skin which focused on body
image issues for students grades 3-8. Ive had plenty of acting experience for the screen
during my years in the Motion Picture Arts Program. On top of acting, I love being involved in
theatre and film in other roles like screenwriter, director, producer, sound mixer, boom
operator, or really any where that I can lend a hand.
Im not sure where my passions will take me, and Im not overly concerned. I do what
I love doing and I wont ever stop.
