Phase 1
What is the relative advantage of using

the technology in this lesson?


The students are to create a PowerPoint

presentation about their selves and they have


one week to do it. The advantage of using
technology in this lesson plan is to present
students to PowerPoint. This will help the
students require production skills as well. This
will help students get to know other students and
also be introduced to PowerPoints as well as
presentations.

Technology- I know how to use
PowerPoint and I can also help
with production skills.
Pedagogy- I will go over what
will be graded and what they
are expected to use.
Content- I will create my own
PowerPoint and I will show
them what is expected and a
similar format.

program incase my students
are having difficulties with it.

understand the lesson and
see if they have any

use narrative writing skills.

demonstrate how to open
and use PowerPoint before
they get started so they
will be able to ask
questions before
beginning.

Phase 3
Evaluation/Revision
As I watch the students begin their assignment
I would take notes on what the students are
struggling in the most. I would also go around
to answer the students questions and that
would help me see what I can do to revise the
lesson plan and fit in more information on it.
Once the assignment is finished I would go
over each one of them and make revisions on
what they missed and also make changes to
the lesson plan as well.

Lesson Descriptors
1 week PowerPoint assignment (5th grade)
Monday: Explain lesson, show students my
example, answer any questions.
Tuesday: Work on their assignment on paper.
Jot down ideas and also continue answering
any questions.
Wednesday: Computer lab work day, begin
working on PowerPoint presentations.
Thursday: Continue working on PowerPoint but
on their own time in the classroom.
Friday: PowerPoint presentations due.
