I. Teaching

Teach How We Learn using innovative and research-based practices in the area of
technology integration. Use student feedback from course evaluations to make
necessary changes to the course.

course evaluations to make necessary changes to the course.

Teach Technology for Special Groups using innovative and research-based practices
in the area of technology integration. Use student feedback from course evaluations
to make necessary changes to the course.

Teach other classes as assigned.

Serve as academic adviser to the Technology Integration Specialty M.Ed. students.


Interview candidates for the TI program. Facilitate the online orientation and
graduation seminar courses for the TI students.

II. Intellectual Pursuits

recruiting efforts.

Effectively advise students regarding academic coursework by maintaining


monthly contact via email and/or face-to-face meetings.

Volunteer to help undergraduate faculty in various capacities such as scoring


student teaching unit plans or demonstrating how to integrate effective technology
tools (especially regarding Common Core) into lesson plans for their students.

Serve as a discussion facilitator for Lipscomb Universitys Center for Teaching and
Learning iRead project throughout the 2014-2015 year.

Serve on ISTEs Administrator PLN leadership team for the 2014-2015 year.

Serve as a mentor for The Joshua Project at Lipscomb University.

IV. Administration

Proposed Plan
Develop the Instructional Design in Online Environments course content for the
Technology Integration M.Ed. program.

Meet bi-weekly with lead faculty for CPL, ELL, and Reading Specialty programs
to discuss specific programmatic needs. Meet monthly with Math PLC instructors.
Meet monthly with Ed.S. coordinator.

Continue organizing Ignite: Get Switched on to Technology Unconference with


Outreach and Enrollment to promote the TI M.Ed. program and certificate.

Approach other districts with a plan to create a program partnership similar to our
current partnerships.
Research and explore the capability of creating an Ed.S. program for Technology
Integration.
Evaluate the possibility of earning and ISTE Seal of Alignment for the Technology
Integration program. Final cost will be determined once paperwork is submitted.

Evaluate the possibility of earning ACTP Program Accreditation through ICF for
the CPL program.
