initiative (PLTs) using the FourFrame model, as well as
recommended improvements based
on this model.
This chapter enabled me to
understand that hiring is a very
important process to maintaining a
vision that includes high standards
for teaching and learning.

I was able to create a marketing


plan for Fraser Schools that
included a presentation to a group
of Realtors in the area.
This paper allowed me to analyze
how to reduce the achievement gap
in my school by utilizing the media
and communications outlets to
promote the things that we are
doing in the school to close the
gap.
I was able to understand many
issues plaguing area school districts
and provide feedback on ways the
media and community could be
leveraged to help solve these
problems.
I attended a local city council
meeting and was able to understand
how to better promote the school
district I work for in this type of

Reflection
This analysis helped me to better
understand how the ACT is
constructed, what the last normed
study was, and how students could
do better on this test.
This project resulted in the district
adopting the tool I created to assess
the implementation of instructional
coaching in the district, as well as
the culture of collaboration in the
district.
I was able to lead a task team to
develop new rigorous high school
graduation requirements. This role
also allowed me to help write and
