Dear Parents/Guardians:
Hello! My name is Miss Diaz, and I am delighted to introduce myself
as a student teacher in your childs 5th grade classroom!
I am a senior at the University of St. Francis, majoring in Elementary
Education with additional endorsements in special education and middle
school social science and English language arts. This semester, I will be
working closely with my cooperating teacher, Ms. Churnovic, for half of
the day. She will be advising and guiding me as I learn from her and
eventually, I will plan and implement your child with a variety of inspiring
lessons.
I am truly excited to begin my intermediate field experience at the
Cathedral of St. Raymond Catholic School. I, too, attended Catholic
school during both my elementary and middle school years, and I
absolutely loved it. I also am quite familiar with the Cathedral of St.
Raymond Catholic School as I worked at St. Rays last year as a recess
monitor, so it is very likely your child already knows me.
I cannot wait to educate your child, and I know this semester will be
wonderful. My goal is to contribute to the students' development and
growth in education, and I will work hard to help and support them. I look
forward to this semester and having an excellent experience working with
your child.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns that you would
like to discuss with me, I can be reached through Ms. Churnovic by calling
the school or via her email at: kchurnovic@csrn.org.

Most sincerely,
Miss Diaz
