500 Rd Quick Change Magazine

Dillons line of gun mounts is not limited to the

M134. A lightweight, universal gun mount is also
available for the M-240. The Universal gun mount
shares the excellent handling characteristic of the
M134 mount, and it is designed to be completely
compatible with the M134 Vertical Arm.
This means that any platform equipped for the
M134 system, can, in a matter of seconds, be
equipped for the M-240.

The Dillon M-240 mount can be fed from either

the standard 200 round ammunition can, or Dillons
DAB500 ammunition magazine. The DAB500 holds
500 rounds of 7.62 millimeter ammunition. The
500 round capacity greatly reduces the gunners
need to change magazines, thus reducing dropped
magazines, gun down-time, and aircraft exposure.
Dillon M-240 mounts and high capacity
magazines are currently used by the US Army in
both ground and aviation applications.
