June August 2015 (summer holidays)

22nd 28th: begin research into 4 micro elements for the two
films
6th 12th: carry on micro research while also researching picture quality,
production of film and the styles of the directors

20th 26th: keep researching into how they filmed it, how it was edited
and what was left out of the films

3rd 9th: read around films and start comparing (articles, reviews)
12th 16th: make sure research presentation is complete accompanied
with diary entries and bibliography

August 2015
17th 31st: begin developing my IT skills and refining my research.
Decide if I want to start my dissertation or start an artefact.

September 2015
1st 6th: Finalise my intention on a dissertation or artefact and begin the
introduction while also carrying on with my diary and notes.

7th 13th: Start on introduction and first paragraph or begin on artefact,

review my progress

14th 20th: Keep on creating my dissertation or artefact with a quarter

to a half of it completed

21st 27th: Read over what I have made or written and make
adjustments (this includes diary, any extra research and notes)

October 2015
1st 11th: I should keep reflecting on what I have written or made. My
word count should reach 3,000 by the end of this month or my
background research to my artefact should be finished.

12th 18th: Make adjustments if my work didnt meet my last criteria and
reflect this in my diary.

19th 25th: Organise a Mid Project review with my supervisor to ensure

my work is up to standard

26th 31st: make any amendments so to comply with what was said at
the meeting

November 2015
2nd 30th: keep progressing with dissertation or artefact and keep
creating diary entries, adding notes or any extra research

December 2015
1st 14th: make sure my dissertation draft s finished or my artefact
research, notes and background report is up to date so can be handed in
on time.

Week starting 14th: Hand in first draft

January 2016
4th 8th: Organise a meeting so to receive feedback and make
adjustments or complete my artefact and comply with the feedback given
about research, notes and report

11th 29th: begin planning presentation and start it

February 2016
Presentation this month
1st 29th: make sure presentation is ready for when it needs presenting.
Areas needed to cover: planning, development, research, critical
decisions, strengths and weaknesses, skills developed etc.

March 2016
1st 31st: make sure all sections of EPQ are finished and ready to hand in
