Expert Witness- DNA

We decided to get DNA from

CSII 0.14 B - pink floral panties found on victim

CSII x .7 Sample found under victim's fingernails
CSII x .4 Swap from bite wound
Thomas Bradley
Peter Holt
The way we obtain the DNA was by the process of PCR (polymerase chain reaction), which
consisted of amplifying a few amount of DNA to thousands of copies of DNA, this process
though was already done for us.
After we obtain copies of the DNA. We started to do the process of electrophoresis, which
consisted of first doing the restriction of endonuclease, which occurred when we added the
enzyme. This whole process occurs when we place the DNA sample in the incubator for 45
minutes. After this process we place the DNA in the gel, so we are able to see where the DNA
was cut and which of the following DNA sample had the same sequence. I added a positive
control for the whole gel, so we were able to have something for reference.
According to our results the DNA under the victims nails, and the body fluids in the victims
panties matched.
As for the bite wound Thomas, and Peter there was no match to any of our other DNA sample.
Having stated this the DNA in her panties and the skin found under her nails does not match
Thomas DNA. (I think I am done) what about now

** mention how we had a positive control.

Expert Witness- Coroner
The victim was found lying in a set position, with discoloration on several areas of the body. The
most obvious Livity pattern was found on the back, gluteal, and popliteal region due to the
remaining blood setting down, while the least obvious pattern was consistent on areas on the
front of the body, so we can conclude the body could have potentially been moved from the
original place of death to the place the body was found . She also suffered from several deep
cuts and bruises in her chest area and head, and also had a bite wound in her inner arm, and a
cut above her eye. When arrived to the crime scene, It was found that her liver temperature was
17 degrees celsius at 14:00 (2:00pm). The normal body temperature is 37 degrees celsius, and
once a person dies, it decreases at 1.5 degrees celsius per hour, therefore the time of the
victims death was around 1:15 am, 13.3 hours prior from when the coroner checked. The cause
of death was ruled to be multiple blunt force traumas to the abdomen and head (the victims
face was found somewhat wrapped in a blood-soaked towel).
Okay guys I think Im done as well. Let me know if you think I should change something or add
anything to this ^.^ I also have 3 pictures for the powerpoint.

For the hypothesis I think it's between the Freemans (mainly Mr. Freeman) or Antonio. I think
the $500 was for a possible abortion (which usually costs less than $800) because she was
looking at her options. Thomas was clueless and surprised about the baby so I doubt it was his.
Maybe the kid could be Freemans yeah that makes more sense\. or antonios. idkkkkkk
Well maybe freemans because it would destroy his family. ohhhhh okay yeah. That makes more
sense because Antonio seems fond of her so I dont think hed want to abort their baby
Maybe Nicka went to Antonio for advice? Not the freemans! lol sorry i read that wrong. Lets just
go for mr.freeman. Sounds good plus it is a alternative hypothesis we dont have to be right?
Then we are good plus none of us did the DNA of mr. Freemans.v Nope. But as long as it
sounds convincing were good to go. Yeah so it could be anyone really.

Expert at microscope:
We were able to get ahold of evidence that were or might have then part of me Nikas murder . we also
tested is evident to see if there was any sign that would refer us exactly what had happened the night Nika
was killed. We tested the items using the UV light and microscope. We were also able to get a hold items
that were from inside Peters van the night of a crime.
13.2- possible human hair. this item was tested with the microscope bandwidth compared to item 27 "
human gray hair" and I am 26 "human straight hair" we didn't find a match so that means it's not a human
hair.
0.14B Pink floral underwear- was tested under the UV light. the pennies contain fluids. Which could be
possible semen due to Nikka having sexual intercourse before she disappeared.
Golf Club- was found inside Peters van. was also tested under the UV lights the we found nothing.
13.9- pink plastic. Was tested under the microscope. we did not find any match the only thing we found
was that it was indeed a plastic and nothing more.
Screwdriver- which was found inside Peters van. was tested under the UV light though we found nothing.
Knife- was found inside Peters van. We tested it under the UV light get found nothing.
13.1- hair that was not humans though it was found inside the victim's hair. Was tested under the
microscope and was compared to item number one and was a perfect match to cat hair.

13.17- found under victim's fingernails. was tested under the microscope and was compared to item
number 10 " human skin" and was a match to human skin. This piece of evidence could possibly contain
DNA of possible murder.
Pry bar- was found inside Peters van. was tested under the UV light the was found nothing.
I THINK IM DONE, what do you guys think?
