1. Briefly describe the field experience.

What did you learn about technology
facilitation and leadership from
completing this field experience?

Having problems with writing and

handwriting is a REAL concern. I
learned that technology is out there
to help with so many different
accommodations. It also takes
patience and training but it can be
implemented for something as
handwriting which gives the student
SO MUCH more growth for success
in his classroom.

2. How did this learning relate to the

knowledge (what must you know),
skills (what must you be able to do)
and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs,
enthusiasm) required of a technology
facilitator or technology leader?
(Refer to the standards you selected in
Part I. Use the language of the PSC
standards in your answer and reflect
on all 3knowledge, skills, and
dispositions.)

Knowledge: I discovered new programs

such as co-writer and got to preview it
for the school and also received new
knowledge on the Ipad which I thought I
knew everything about. I was able to
support innovative thinking once I gave
these knew tools to the student.
Skills: I had to model the process for the
student so I too had to know co-writer
and how to use the word document app
on the Ipad.
Dispositions: I was able to promote
learning when the students attitude is a
little more open to writing and turning
work in due to the organizational tools
on the IPad.
3. Describe how this field experience
impacted school improvement, faculty
development or student learning at
your school. How can the impact be
assessed?
Student learning was impacted and is
assessed by the time frame that the
student is now turning in his writings
essays and writing prompts as well as the
length and effort put into the
assignments.
