This activity allowed me to

research the different types of
learners and how students learn
best in the classroom, which
helped me gain knowledge of
learners and learning. There are
various types of learners and
understanding how those
differences affect student-learning
outcomes can provide educators
with the means for achieving
optimal student success in and out
of the classroom.

This project allows me to be an

effective and knowledgeable
teacher by having the ability to
offer completed research instead
of relying on my students to find
their own research. It allows me
to somewhat control what the
student is researching to ensure

credible sources, while also

allowing the student to participate
in the process. Students are able
to find all the information in one
place, which saves time and
decreases confusion. This will
require students to display
information literacy skills using
various strategies. Students will
be required to communicate with
peers effectively in groups to
complete task while accessing
and interrupting intellectual
content for assignments. This will
also be offered to teachers, which
allows me to be an effective
instructional partner.

effective demonstration and

that teachers can incorporate into
their lessons. These are tools that
I would use in a professional
development meeting or while
giving orientations on possible
tech tools. The use of technology
demonstrates the integration of
21st Century learning that will
compliment literacy strategies and
information seeking behavior.

through verbal and nonverbal

support student learning and

These reference logs provide an
outlook and reference guide that
can be used by teachers and
students to better assist with
research and educational needs.
This best describes my role as an
effective and knowledgeable
teacher. I made the initiative to
share these ongoing and
informative reference logs with
teachers and students to show
them the various types of
resources they can access. By this
being an online resource students
can has access to information

Aid
This activity allowed me to
become an effective and
knowledgeable teacher by
creating a reference guide for
students who may need the
guidance when using the Dewey
Decimal System. This also
considers a teaching aid to

students viewed this presentation
during a lesson followed by an
activity (short scavenger hunt).
This also will also have a diverse
appeal and could be used for
students on all grade levels.
