Objective

Student centered:

-This study aims to convey familiarity and to provide an effective


nursing care to a patient diagnosed with peripheral arterial disease
through understanding the patient history, and disease process.

- To present a thorough assessment, through nursing health history,


physical assessment and interpretation of the laboratory examination
done on the patient.

- To discuss the anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology of the


patient condition, usual clinical manifestation and possible
complications of this condition.

- To have knowledge of the patient medication and be familiar with


those medication

- To formulate a workable nursing care plan on the subjective and


objective cues gathered through nurse-patient interactions to be able
to help the patient recover.

Client centered:

– This study will enable the patient to recognize factors affecting her
health status
– The patient will avoid or lessen those modifiable factors.
– This study will also provide acceptance of the complication that the
patient undergone.
