Relationship

Relationship means that two or more things are connected with each other. It
may be two or more concepts connected, two or more people connected, or
two more objects connected. Also, it might be the condition of being
connected such as by marriage or blood. Relationship has many types such
as relationship between society and religion, relationship between society
and education, and relationship between society and individual. It is an
important concept for studying sociology.
Relationship between society and religion has an important role in the
secular society. Religion is created in human society, and it has both a social
institution and its belief system. Following Durkheim, Karl Marx and Max
Weber also looked at religions role and influence in other social institutions
such as economics and politics. Also, Weber thought that the religious
belief systems provided a cultural framework that supported the
development of other social institutions, such as the economy. Any society
has the major culture, which is religious root. For example, America has a
Christian spirit, and people know the May Flower Compact. Human dignity is
a basic element of religion. Religion promotes moral law which continues as
practice in its followers. Religion has the positive strength to build state for
peace. A freedom of religion is the basis of free society. The free society can
contain different beliefs, tastes, pursuits, codes, and customs going on.

Relationship between society and education has a strong connection

between the two ideas. Education has the major social objective, which is to
fulfil the socialization process. For example, the school helps family to fulfil
the socialization process. Education looks like cultural driving device from
this generation to other generation in every society. Society looks like the all
scope of the social relationships of persons living in the group. Relationship
between the two ideas are very stable. It cannot split because this one
affects the other one they are correlated. Educational institution is micro
society that reflects the entire society. An education institution prepares the
children for adult life, and it instills in them more skills to use in the life to
contribute to society. Education has the function, which is to transmit the
cultural in society. The education is not independent and exclusive from
family and society; in fact, it takes its place within family in the society. That
is the purpose of school as a social institution-- to educate the children.
Education prepares the student for future work positon, and it can reform the
attitudes of the children. The society and education are strong relationship.
Durkheim saw that, Education as a social phenomenon through which a
society assumes its own continuity by socializing the young in its own
image. Education institutions reflect the intellectual values and moral
values.
Relationship between society and individual would be timeless harmony in
the well condition society. Men are social animals. They have the innate
driving desire to live with others in the connected life. They live with others

to enjoy the fruits of daily life. Men need society for their survival or being.
Their children depend on their parents and some others for their growing and
survival. The instinctive abilities of the children develop only in the society.
Society supplies just the right setting for the growth of character in a person.
Society and individual would be bound together by the harmonious and
intimate bond, and the conflict between society and individual is temporary
and apparent. Society has the goal to make the good life for the individuals,
and it makes more opportunities and good conditions for the growth of
individual being. Society makes certain harmony and work together amid
individuals although they have the conflicts. The individuals would contribute
the experience and wisdom to society if society supports a lot of ways to
them.
A society has many kinds of relationships such as relationship between
society and religion, relationship between society and education, and
relationship between society and individual. All those concepts of the
relationships have the important roles in the society. They would help people
to study and understand the sociology thoroughly.
