Product Name:

Stabodrill HT
High Temperature Drilling Starch

MAIN USE
STABODRILL HT is a cold water dispersible potato starch, which has excellent fluid
loss properties in a variety of water based oil well drilling fluids.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
STABODRILL HT is a pregelatinised, cross linked, hydroxypropyl, carboxymethyl
potato starch ether
SPECIAL FEATURES
STABODRILL HT is stable to higher temperatures than conventional drilling
starches. It synergises with Xantham Gum to give excellent low shear rheology and
enables lower quantities of the gum to be used. It is relatively fermentation stable
may be used in applications where cellulosic polymers are used
CHARACTERISTICS
Type of Product

biodegrade with time

Thermo stability

Resistant to degradation at temperatures up to 150C

(300F), dependant on the mud system
