Students on their own will be able to learn to understand and appreciate the truths about the Blessed Trinity, Basic
Christian Prayers and St. La Salle as a Servant Leader; these will help them establish a personal loving relationship with
God through prayer.

The Word Exposed blog spot communication invited the grades 5-7 pupils to submit a digital scrapbook of ACTSO form of
prayers. Its goal is to help the youth to be familiar with the different forms of prayer in the context of how to promote
waste segregation and soon to develop the love for praying to God constantly. The chosen output will be posted in its
Gospel for kids edition. For the entry to be chosen it must be creative, accurate and reflective so that it may lead the
readers to reflect on the importance of praying to God.

EXPLANATION: Describe the characteristics of the three Persons of the Blessed Trinity.
Discuss the Basic Christian Prayers and its different forms.
Describe St. John Baptist de La Salle as a Man of Prayer.

INTERPRETATION: Discover the importance of praying to the Blessed Trinity and to follow the example of
St. Lasalle in their life as grade 5 learners.

Inform the class to keep these questions in mind since the same questions shall be answered towards the end of the module.
Days 2-4: Activity 1: Face to face Activity: Walking in Trust
Ask two volunteers, one from the boys and one from the girls. One of the volunteers will be blindfolded whole the other one
will guide his/her partner and see to it that he/she can walk properly around the classroom.
The activity shall be processed by the teacher through the following questions:
1. How do you think did the blindfolded person feel when/she was being led?
2. How do you think did his/her partner feel?
3. What did you learn from the activity?
Activity 2: Which is which?
Students will be shown some pictures of water, egg and the three divine Persons of the Blessed Trinity. They need to identify
which one is water, egg and lastly which one is God. Afterwards, present the different images of the Blessed Trinity. See the
keynote presentation prepared by the teacher.
Ask the process question: Which of the following images of the Blessed Trinity you liked most? Why?
Day 5-10: Activity 3: Ways of Communication
Some pictures will be shown to the students and they will be asked what are the meanings of these pictures for them. The
common answer shall be the word communication. They will be asked what communication all about is. And challenged to
connect the word communication to our faith relationship with God.

When the children are finished, asked them to their CLG (Christian Living Group), invite them to make comments about each
area of prayer. Children can learn from one another through a discussion of this kind. This checklist also reminds the children
that there are many times and reasons to pray to God.
Activity 5: Dyad Sharing: (talk to seatmate moment)
Asked the students to recall some traditional/basic Christian prayers that they can still remember and memorized.
Activity 6: Discuss from the keynote presentation the importance of these Traditional prayers and the examples of it. Give
clarification on the correct translation of the Lords Prayer.
Activity 7: Prayer in Parts (CLG)
Traditional prayers, such as the Lords Prayer, can be prayed in parts to allow the students to focus on the specific lines. This
helps the students concentrate on the meaning of the prayer.
Using the Jot Free App, each students will write their assigned part of the prayer. See below:
Group 1: Our Father in heaven,

The teacher shall process this activity by asking the question: How did you feel while praying the Lords Prayer?
Activity 8: Asked the students to recall the different forms of prayer and write it down in their CL notebook. Asked them also
to give the meanings of each form of prayer.
Activity 9: Discuss from the keynote presentation the different forms of prayer.
Days 11-16:
Activity 12: Let the students sing the Lasallian Prayer. Ask them if they know the meaning of the prayer.
Discuss the meaning of the Lasallian Prayer according to the writing Living the Lasallian Spirit by Bro. Michael
Valenzuela, FSC. Ask the students what they realized after learning the meaning of the Lasallian prayer.
Activity 13: Ask the students what are the things they know about their Patron Saint, St. John Baptist de Lasalle. Let them watch a
video about the life of St. La Salle. Discuss the facts about the life of St. La Salle from the keynote presentation. The teacher shall
guide the students in reflecting what they appreciate best in the life of St. La Salle.
Activity 14: Roles of Saint John Baptist De La Salle
The teacher will discuss the keynote presentation about the five roles of St. John Baptist De La Salle (Risk- Taker, Decision-Maker,
Servant-Leader, Humble-Servant, and Educator). Let the students do this enrichment activity: Express your gratefulness to Saint
John Baptist De La Salle for the things he has contributed. Use pic collage app.
